The Empire Consett offers access for people with a disability. The ground floor is ramped in the relevant places. We have six dedicated spaces for wheelchair users and their carers within the auditorium. A disabled toilet is situated in the foyer area of the venue on the ground floor.
A hearing loop is also available in the main auditorium for patrons who have a hearing aid. Disabled parking is available at the front of the building for three vehicles.
Please be aware that unfortunately we are unable to allow pushchairs into the auditorium and there is no available storage space for these within the Empire Consett.
