Presented by CBS Theatre Group
Based on the novel by Victor Hugo, and music from the animated Disney film in 2002, this story is set in 1482 in Paris; the deformed Cathederal bell ringer Quasimodo and his guardian Archdeacon Claude Frollo are central to the tale.
Frollo convinces Quasimodo that he has no right to a normal life as his disfigurement condemns him to a life of servitude to Frollo. Quasimodo is befriended by a dancer named Esmerelda who teaches him what kindness and love is, however Frollo consumed with jealousy sets about creating a regime that will be the ruination of them all.
