The Comedy Store is delighted to be showcasing its best and brightest comedy talent at Empire Consett.
The London club that gave a leg-up to the likes of Eddie Izzard and Rhod Gilbert offers a night out like no other – and you don’t even have to leave Consett to experience it!
Each show will provide two hours of laughter featuring four of the best stand-up comedians currently working in the UK.

Having deservedly earning himself the reputation of being an excellent hot ticket live performer, you’ll be on the edge of your seat if you are fortunate enough to see Matt Reed skilfully destroy any heckler that may cross his path.
In the spring of 1997 Mick Ferry set foot on stage for the very first time at the legendary Frog and Bucket. It has led to a career that has seen him perform all around the world. He is one of the most sought after comperes and headliners in the UK and writes regularly for some of the biggest names in stand up comedy and he has appeared on many tv shows.
“A hugely talented rising star” (Jokes On Us), sharp storyteller Naomi Cooper has performed across Europe, and in 2017 supported Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Jeff Garlin for the entirety of his extended sold-out run at the Soho Theatre, after he hailed her as “a comedy badass.”
Mixing a razor-sharp wit with an affable charm and creative writing, Pete Otway quickly established himself on the circuit as a natural and original comedian. After making it to the finals of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2012, he was chosen to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of Just the Tonic’s prestigious Big Value Showcase.
